John is a shareholder of Stanfield & O’Dell and is Director of Business Valuation and Litigation Support services for the firm. His more than 25 years of experience in public accounting includes prior service as a partner with an international CPA firm where he specialized in tax and business planning for closely held businesses and individuals.
His extensive consulting experience includes:
John earned the designation of Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) as well as obtaining a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Business Valuation from the American Institute of CPAs. His experience and understanding of the body of knowledge in the valuation process qualifies John as a first class business advisor. He also offers seminars to attorneys and other professionals covering such topics as understanding business valuation and financial statement analysis.

John graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers, and the Institute of Business Appraisers.
