Title:          Senior Tax Manager

  

Description:

Senior Tax Managers are the liaison between shareholders, clients and tax team members.  Primary responsibilities include maintaining tax compliance for the firm's clients, developing new clients, and expanding the scope of tax consulting services with existing clients.  Other responsibilities include reviewing federal and state tax returns for all entity types, managing and developing client relationships, supervising preparation of high-level technical income tax returns for high-profile/key clients, including businesses and high net worth individuals, researching various tax issues and preparing research documentation; and supervising and training tax staff.

 

You will have the opportunity to become part of a partner development group, which includes partner mentoring, client responsibility, and training at “The Partner Institute” offered through The Growth Partnership (www.thegrowthpartnership.com).  The firm expects to fill more than six ownership positions during the next six years.

 

 

Experience:

·   Certified Public Accountant

  • Effective interpersonal relations, with the ability to make a positive first impression in initial meetings and quickly develop rapport with clients and prospects
  • Ability to work independently, take the initiative, and be resourceful and inventive in planning, managing and executing assignments
  • Develop new clients and expand the scope of consulting services with existing clients
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication with the ability to prepare and deliver concise and understandable reports, presentations and research memoranda
  • Ability to motivate, train and develop tax staff and identify technical training and development needs
  • Perform periodic evaluations of tax staff
  • Involvement in community activities, such as civic clubs, Chamber of Commerce, etc., in leadership roles
  • Solid work ethic with the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

Title:          Tax Manager

 

Description:

Tax Managers work with other professionals in the department and the firm's shareholders on tax related projects, including preparation of high-level income tax returns for high-profile/key clients, including businesses and high net worth clients, preparation and review of federal and state returns for all entity types, research and documentation on various tax issues, and representation of clients in preparing for and coordinating IRS examinations.  As a manager, you will assist in the development of team members by providing leadership, training, guidance and direction.

 

Experience: 

·   Certified Public Accountant

  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to make a positive first impression in initial meetings and quickly develop rapport with clients and prospects
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative and be a prime contact in working with clients
  • Develop new clients and expand the scope of consulting services with existing clients
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication with the ability to prepare and deliver concise and understandable reports, presentations and research memoranda
  • Solid work ethic with the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Participate actively in the community and identify and pursue business development opportunities
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Title:          Tax Senior

 

Description:

Tax Seniors work with other professionals in the department and the firm's shareholders on tax related projects, including maintaining tax compliance for the firm's tax clients; preparing federal and state tax returns for all entity types, researching tax issues and preparing documentation; and representing clients in preparing for and coordinating IRS examinations.

 

Experience:

·   Certified Public Accountant or CPA Candidate is preferred

  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to make a positive first impression in initial meetings and quickly develop rapport with clients and prospects
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative and be a prime contact in working with clients
  • Develop new clients and expand the scope of consulting services with existing clients
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication with the ability to prepare and deliver concise and understandable reports, presentations and research memoranda
  • Solid work ethic with the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Participate actively in the community and identify and pursue business development opportunities
  • Team player with a positive attitude
